Expect the hubbies in the new season of "The Simple Life" to be a bit randy. That’s what the producers are looking for.
The concept for the new show has former best friends Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie — who are no longer speaking to each other — trying to be surrogate moms in strange households. A casting call has gone out to find families willing to be filmed, and a source familiar with the search says that the execs have declared: “The friskier the dad, the better.”
“They’re looking for dads who are likely to make a play for Paris or Nicole,” says a source. “They’re saying they’re willing to pay the families ‘a substantial’ amount of money for two days of shooting and that African-American families are a plus.” Why’s that? Says the source: “I think it’s just because they already have some white families and they want to be multicultural.”
Mariah on a manhunt
Mariah Carey is “shopping for men” in London, says our overseas spy.
The singer has told people that “I’m going to find me a man on this trip” to the U.K., says our source.
“She’s heard that British men are complete gentlemen, and she’s ready for some of that,” says the insider. “She gave her number to Kaz James [the Bodyrockers frontman who has been linked to Kiera Knightly]. I must say, she was looking quite lovely on the trip so I think she will be successful.”
Notes from all over
Jennifer Lopez’s ex-hubby, Cris Judd has hooked up with British topless model, Jody Marsh, says a source. . . . Lindsay Lohan is “mimicking her idol, Marilyn Monroe” in some semi-nude shots that may end up on the cover of Vanity Fair, according to In Touch Weekly. The actual cover shot hasn’t been chosen, and the mag declined to comment, but a source says that when a young boy wandered into the shoot, naked Lindsay “had to cover herself until someone on the set threw her a towel.”
