NEW YORK — Donald Trump, soon to premiere the fourth season of “The Apprentice,” will make his daytime soap opera debut on NBC’s “Days of Our Lives.”
Trump will tape his appearance Friday for an episode set to air Oct. 24, the network said Wednesday.
“I’m thrilled that Donald Trump will be guest starring on ‘Days of Our Lives,”’ Sheraton Kalouria, senior vice president, NBC Daytime, said in a statement.
“(Trump) intimately knows drama from his many business ventures to his weekly boardrooms on ‘The Apprentice.’ Little does he know that the drama on ‘Days of Our Lives’ is often more intense!”
The new season of “The Apprentice,” in which candidates compete for a job with the real estate mogul, premieres Sept. 22.
