Recipe: Orange Mousse Filling

Ingredients
  • 1 pound mascarpone
  • 8 ounces sugar
  • 8 ounces orange juice
  • 4 ounces triple sec
  • 1 quart heavy cream
Preparation

Mix together mascarpone, sugar, orange juice and triple sec until creamy. In a separate bowl, whip the cream to stiff peaks. Fold the cream and mascarpone mixture together. Using a pastry bag, fill the cannoli shells with the orange mousse filling.
Serving suggestion: Serve with raspberries and strawberries marinated in orange juice and balsamic vinegar. Top with a sprinkling of powdered sugar.
