Clay Aiken fans are visiting his house by the thousands. Virtually.

Rabid fans of the "American Idol" runner-up have been emailing one another (link was disabled on Monday) of the singer’s 7,800 square-foot San Fernando Valley house, which has gone on the market for $2,495,000.

The 26-year-old bought the 6-bedroom, 6 ½-bathroom Mediterranean-style house last fall for $2.3 million, but has said that he doesn’t like living in L.A. because he feels “lonely” there. In addition to taking the cyber tour, fans have been trying to visit their idol’s home in person.

“The street address is there, so they can go up to it in person, but I hear they’ve been trying to get tours from the real estate agent,” a source tells The Scoop. “I’m just trying to figure out if those paintings on the walls are supposed to be portraits of Clay.”

When contacted about the property, real estate agent Jerry Keller said, “I’m not at liberty — can I call you back?” But he never did.

Is Kathleen Turner supporting Scientology?Has Kathleen Turner joined forces with Scientology?

The sultry-voiced “Virgin Suicides” star is the narrator of “Answering the Call” — a documentary about rescue workers and volunteers at Ground Zero on 9/11. The documentary was produced and written by diehard Scientologist Bunny Dubin, who won a Scientology Freedom Medal in 2001 for her efforts as a volunteer minister at Ground Zero and along with her husband, is very active in the controversial church, according to CultNews.com.

The film, which will open on September 11 of this year, deals with the “detoxification” process invented by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, promoted and partially funded by Scientologist Tom Cruise, and used on some Ground Zero workers. The “detoxification” process was praised by some first responders, but was blasted by certain health care professionals and Scientology foes, who attacked the group’s 9/11 efforts as a recruiting tool for the church.

“Standing next to [Kathleen Turner at a press conference for the preview of the film last week] was Bunny Dubin who has said that her work as a volunteer minister is part of an ongoing ‘crusade’ for Scientology,” notes CultNews. “Dubin announced at the press conference that she hopes to create a national network based upon the film’s success, this documentary could prove to be a promotional bonanza of free advertising for Scientology.”

Turner’s rep didn’t respond to requests for comment.

Notes from all over
Fans of Angelina Jolie are worried that the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" star seems to have lost a lot of weight. “She doesn’t look anorexic, but she certainly doesn’t have as many curves as she once did,” says a source.  . . . Meanwhile, some fans of Beyoncé Knowles are wondering if she has more curves than she used to. “Her breasts are looking suspiciously round like halved oranges,” notes AwfulPlasticSurgery.com.  . . . Matt Damon wasn’t the first choice to star in “The Brothers Grimm.” The filmmakers apparently wanted Johnny Depp for the role. “The first time I went to meet Terry [Gilliam, who directed the flick], I said: ‘Why isn’t Johnny Depp doing this movie?’” Damon told reporters while promoting the film. “Terry looked at me and said: ‘We don’t want Johnny Depp. We want you.’ I kept staring at Terry, who finally said: ‘The studio [Miramax Films] wouldn’t make it with Johnny.’ I stared at him harder, and Terry finally admitted: ‘Matt, you’re my second choice.’” When “Pirates of the Caribbean” was a big hit, says Damon, one of the heads of Miramax shouted, “I can’t [bleeping] believe we got Damon and not Depp!’”
