Is Eva a diva?

Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria reportedly threw a hissyfit outside a Los Angeles nightclub when she and boyfriend Tony Parker couldn’t get in.

“She was demanding to be let in immediately,” an “onlooker” tells the upcoming issue of In Touch Weekly. “She was telling the doorman that she was a celebrity and wouldn’t wait. But she was told, ‘You’re no exception here. You have to wait in line behind the other 100 people.’”

The diva fever reportedly continued into the next day when, throwing out the ceremonial pitch for the Los Angeles Angels, Longoria turned up her nose at the stadium’s bottled water and insisted on Evian.

Longoria’s spokeswoman insists that the nightclub incident has been misinterpreted, telling the Scoop: “She would never do that. She’s very easy going that way. [The club] was at capacity. She was there with three other people and didn’t know whether they could get in so she decided to forego it.” What about the water scandal? Says her rep, “I wasn’t there, but that’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. I’ve seen her drink tap water.”

Life with Liza

David Gest, the estranged husband of Liza Minnelli, poses at an undisclosed location in Hawaii, in this recent but undated publicity photo. Gest said, in an interview to be broadcast by NBC Friday, that the breakup of his marriage to Minnelli was caused by a tabloid article, not alleged physical abuse. Gest, who has been staying in Hawaii since the split, told \"Dateline's\" Stone Phillips that Minnelli \"beat me and hit me everywhere,\" but it was a National Enquirer article portraying his estranged wife as an alcoholic that led to the relationship's end.(AP Photo/NBC)

Just what the literary world has been waiting for: David Gest’s memoirs.

Gest, who is getting a divorce from Liza Minnelli, whom he claimed beat him up, has been shopping around a proposal to write the story of his life.

In the still-untitled memoir, Gest proposes to discuss his marriage and his alleged injuries at the hands of his estranged wife, his long personal and professional relationship with Michael Jackson, his own plastic surgery, as well as how Michael Jackson recovered from his plastic surgery at Gest’s house, according to a publishing source who has seen the proposal.

Sniffs the insider: “We’re going to take a pass on this.”
