Britney Spears’ dog has rejected her hubby.
The singer’s Chihuahua Lucky doesn’t like Kevin Federline and growls and snaps at him, according to the Star. Faced with the tough decision — hubby or hound — Spears selected her spouse.
“Britney was upset about it,” a source told the tab. “She couldn't bring herself to give the dog to the pound...so she gave Lucky to an assistant.” Britney, however, reportedly “sneaks out and visits Lucky whenever Kevin is out.”
When asked if there was any truth to this earth-shattering report, Spears’ spokeswoman told The Scoop: “The truth is that Britney’s dog Lucky is living with an assistant until the house is finished.”
Catering to the stars
Why do celebs need such massive entourages? They apparently need a lot of tending to.
Stuff magazine did some investigating, and came up with some of the special tasks assigned to various celeb assistants. Mariah Carey (shown at left) “employs a petite Colombian” who follows her around and whose various duties include keeping the diva’s “long skirts from touching the floor and humping around a Louis Vuitton backpack filled with bottled water,” according to the mag.
Ja Rule keeps a comedian around to tell him jokes, the mag reports, and Ludacris has an assistant who makes sure that his Game Boy is always loaded with fresh batteries.
Notes from all over
Hayden Christensen might hang up his light saber and get out of the acting business. “Maybe the new 'Star Wars' will be my last movie,” Christensen told Britain's The Sun. “I don’t find Hollywood interesting, so I’m thinking about studying architecture instead.” . . . Beyoncé’s father, Matthew Knowles, insists that he’s still his daughter’s manager, but In Touch Weekly is preparing to report that her sweetie Jay-Z has been guiding a lot of her business decisions lately. . . . Kelly Osbourne apparently doesn’t think that Britney Spears deserves her fame. When asked who is the most overrated singer in the industry, the daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne told “This is London” that it’s “probably Britney Spears.” When asked if she loathed her sometimes-blond rival, Kelly replied, “No, not at all. She’s actually a really nice person. I just feel sorry for her because no one ever leaves her alone and I think she makes poor decisions.” No word on whether or not those “poor decisions” included choosing Kevin over Lucky.
