The Greater Binghamton Airport has received a $117,000 federal grant.
The money will be used to pay for an airport sustainability plan to develop a policy that looks at minimizing its environmental impact, boosting economic benefits and improving community relations.
Congressman Richard Hanna announced that the federal tax dollars will be going to the airport.
