From a new cut on the classic pair of khakis to mascara for men, TODAY style editor and Bobbie.com's Bobbie Thomas highlights what's hot for him:

Classics reinvented
Dockers, a name synonymous with khakis, has given the menswear staple a makeover. Their "Alpha" khaki is now available in slim fit, an easy way to make a fashion forward shift backed by a brand men know and love. The slightly leaner leg offers a cleaner line that will help elongate most frames. While the modern cut is available in their tried and true sandy hue, he can also find a variety of other colors and fabrics ($68, dockers.com).

Florsheim shoes have made a major comeback thanks to a few founding family members who have repurchased and revamped the iconic company. Updated styles and a collaboration with famed menswear line Duckie Brown have helped to generate major buzz among tastemakers. Whether you prefer a traditional loafer or like to have a little fun with your footwear, this longtime favorite now has fresh options for everyone ($90-$475, florsheim.com).

New ideas
While women have been known to change outfits many times a day, men will love the ultimate "do-anything, go-anywhere" shorts by Liquid Flow. Made from quick-drying, soft microfibers, the versatile shorts are wearable in water, comfy from the beach to the golf course and even a lunch or shopping date with her ($68, liquidflowclothing.com).

And now men can save some cash and swap style online. Tietry.com a monthly membership program, inspired by Netflix, offers over 300 neckwear options for rent. Members can pick a plan that suits their needs, be it "one at-a-time" or five, and ties can be kept out for as long as the member wants, before returning via regular mail ($11.99-$29.99 per month, tietry.com). For someone with a sense of humor, Faux Real apparel is looking for a few laughs. Their photorealistic "trompe l'oeil" t-shirts are printed to create the illusion of everything from a 1970's hairy chest to a nerd donning a polo shirt, complete with pocket protector, pens and geeky glasses printed right on the tee ($30-$32,fauxrealshirt.com).

Will nail polish for men catch on?

Face time
Once taboo on the market, mens' makeup and cosmetic products are now a booming industry. For guys looking to up their grooming game, there's Miracle Skin Transformer for Men with SPF, a multi-tasker which hydrates, protects and reduces fine lines and redness in one step without parabens, dyes or fragrances ($48, miracleskintransformer.com).

And while we ladies have countless quick fixes for our hair, from root concealers to temporary colors, men now have the same luxury for the their locks with Generation Klean's Gray Disappear. A mascara-like wand that instantly covers grays and unsightly roots, the formula washes out easily and can be used on beards, mustaches, eyebrows, and sideburns; it can even be used to add instant highlights ($15.99, generationklean.com). Last but not least, if the hairs on his chinny chin chin are precious, the "Goatee Saver," will keep his stubbles stylish with an adjustable tool that ensures perfect facial hair shape every time ($19.99, goateesaver.com).

So many hot, high-profile dudes are hanging onto their longer locks that fashion blog Stylelist dubbed it a bona fide trend: the man-bob. Here are a few celebs who are rocking the long locks, for better or worse. Johnny Depp is renowned for showcasing his own, unique style, so you can bet this talented, eccentric actor’s man-bob is more about personal expression than following a trend. 3. Ashton Kutcher

Ashton Kutcher rose to fame portraying long-haired Kelso on “That 70s Show.” Today, Mr. Demi Moore (and Charlie Sheen replacement on “Two and a Half Men”) is rocking a seriously '70s 'do. (Kevin Winter / Getty Images) Back to slideshow navigation

  5. Jared Leto

As former “My So-Called Life” heartthrob Jordan Catalano, actor Jared Leto was no stranger to the man-bob. Years later, Leto’s now taking the style to new extremes as the front-man for the band 30 Seconds to Mars. (Kristian Dowling / Getty Images) Back to slideshow navigation
  6. David Beckham

  9. Richie Sambora

During Bon Jovi’s high-haired `80’s heyday, guitarist Richie Sambora was frequently spotted rocking a mane that seemed to add several inches to his already imposing six foot frame.
