REDMOND, Wash. — Today, the Msnbc Digital Network launched new apps that people can add to their Facebook timelines to share news video with their friends and discover new msnbc.com and TODAY.com videos.

'Jersey Shore' cast on real Shore: 'It's amazing!'
For people who love watching the latest videos from NBC News, the new msnbc.com and TODAY.com apps enable them to add their favorite video to their timeline and update it with the videos they’re watching as they go.
“We’re thrilled to launch the new msnbc.com and TODAY.com apps for Facebook timeline to give people an easy way to connect around video and discover new video to share with their friends," said Charlie Tillinghast, President and Publisher, Msnbc Digital Network.
When people choose to install the msnbc.com and TODAY.com apps, they have full control over what information they share with their friends. They can also always edit their settings from their Application Settings Page on Facebook, and they can remove specific activity directly from timeline or from their personal Activity Log on Facebook.
“We are excited that msnbc.com and TODAY.com are both launching today,” said Justin Osofsky, Director of Platform Partnerships, Facebook. “This team was able to move very fast and get their initial integration up and running in just a few weeks. And this launch is just the start.”
