Hagerstown Police Searching For Suspects in Home Invasion

HAGERSTOWN, MD - Police are searching for two suspects accused of burglarizing a Hagerstown apartment and assaulting a resident in the process. The burglary happened in the nine hundred block of Pope Avenue just before one in the morning on Saturday. Police say two men wearing hooded sweatshirts entered the apartment, assaulted the man inside it and then took off with a number of items. Officers searched the area on foot and with the Maryland State Police helicopter, but were unable to find the suspects. The victim suffered minor injuries from the assault.
