AAA President and CEO Robert Darbelnet and TSA Administrator John Pistole say it will be a busy 2012 Thanksgiving holiday season. Darbelnet said people are still paying attention to what they’re spending, but “carving turkey with family and friends still trumps pinching pennies”.
According to AAA, gas prices have sunk these past few weeks by 9 percent, falling to about $3.47, reports CNBC's Kate Kelly. It could be days or weeks before the shortages ease, she says.
