'Idol' winner Fantasia expecting second child

Fantasia's family is expanding!

"American Idol's" season-three champ Fantasia Barrino confirmed during a charity event in Jacksonville, Florida over the weekend that she is expecting her second child, JustJared reports.

"You are the first persons that I share this news with," the singer, 27, told the crowd. "And I share this with you because I can relate to you. And for a while I walked around figuring out what will they say and what will they think about me. But now I tell you I don't live my life for folk."

It's the second child for Barrino, whose daughter Zion turns 10 next week. The star hasn't yet confirmed the identity of the father of her baby-to-be. Last August, she admitted that she was having an affair with a married man, Antwaun Cook, and overdosed on aspirin in a suicide attempt.

"I think I was just overloaded with everything, with carrying six years of so much," she admitted of the rocky period.
