Elisabetta Canalis swears she'll be a bride one day — problem is her hunky boyfriend happens to be Hollywood's most notoriously confirmed bachelor.

The Italian hottie, who's been dating George Clooney for nearly two years, may have just scared off the "Ocean's Eleven" star for good after speaking out to Italian weekly Chi. Canalis told the magazine their relationship is solid and that she wouldn't be with someone who didn't want to get married or have kids.

Uh-oh, is that Clooney's car we hear screeching out of the driveway?

And there's more on the touchy subject...

"I am a firm believer in marriage, in the future I will be married," Canalis claimed. "But for the time being I am as happy as I am, I don't need anything to confim how happy I am."

Canalis also talks babies, saying she expects them eventually.

"My maternal instinct has not kicked in yet but my mother says when it does it will be like a lightning bolt," she said.

Canalis, 32, also says she's shocked at what she reads in the magazines about her relationship with the 50-year-old movie star.

"Whenever I see my picture in a magazine I know what is being written," she said. "They all say that I spend my time organizing parties and that my boyfriend does not want to marry me and be with me anymore."

She claims that Clooney has not discussed his private life in interviews since 1999 and that tabloids are rehashing old quotes that the star made over a decade ago.

"Between us I'm the one who gossips the most because I have less experience than him," she says. "I could never be with someone who every time he opens his mouth says he doesn't want a child with me or marry me."

For now, Canalis says she's stuck being the maid of honor at her girlfriends' weddings and that she's not putting any time limits on her own big day.

And despite her heartfelt gabbing — and rumors the couple are already on a break — Clooney's rep tells E! that the two are currently in Italy together and just had lunch in Milan on Wednesday.

Could Clooney be having a change of heart? Stay tuned...
