Concept kitchenwares reduce clutter with class

More space and less clutter are the two things that every kitchen needs — which is exactly what inspired Astro Studios to design this set of minimalist and modular appliances, dubbed KitchenScape. We've seen plenty of potentially useful kitchen gadgets over the years, but none as sleek and thoughtfully designed as these.

For now, there are only 4 appliances — a toaster, coffee maker, juicer and tea kettle. Each has been made to be as functional as possible. For example, the juicer has space for storing ingredients, as well as a cutting board for prep work.

Probably the coolest and most handy feature is their ability to daisy-chain power by locking together. This means that only one of the 4 devices needs to actually be plugged into the wall, saving you space and reducing clutter.

Sadly, KitchenScape is only in the concept phase. Astro Studios has a solid track record though, having designed the original Xbox 360, Boxee Box, and the Looxcie camcorder just to name a few. So, hopefully it's only a matter of time before a major manufacturer decides to start making these.
