"NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams" announced that its "Nightly News" for iPad App is now available exclusively on the App Store. The video-centric app utilizes iPad's large, high-resolution display to deliver a vibrant and eye-catching user interface which makes it easy for consumers to stay on top of the day’s biggest news stories, interact with video transcripts, view related slideshows and read the day’s top headlines on Nightly.msnbc.com.

Brian Williams, anchor and managing editor of "NBC Nightly News," said, "This app is the equivalent of our entire newsroom in an iPad. Everywhere we go, everything we do is right here. We're on TV, DVR, the web, and now the iPad app adds another front that gives 'Nightly News' complete, on-demand portability."

The NBC Nightly News App for iPad lets viewers Join Brian Williams and the NBC Nightly News team seven days a week for top-notch political coverage, cutting-edge health and science reports, inspiring "Making a Difference" profiles, and all of the most important stories at home and around the world.

Viewers can watch individual segments from the "Nightly News" broadcast or watch the broadcast in its entirety, watch exclusive online video and read Brian’s blog. It’s another engaging way to stay connected to America's No. 1 evening broadcast. Users can also check out slideshows from Brian in the field and The Week in Pictures, read top headlines from msnbc.com, and post video and comments on their Facebook page and Twitter accounts right from the app.
