A complete tour schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.

The musical was written by the "South Park" creators and is about two Mormon missionaries in Africa. It earned 14 Tony Award nominations and has been a critical and box office darling.

"The Book of Mormon" will be joined on the road by a tour of the musical "Sister Act," which will start in Toronto in the fall of 2012. The British play "War Horse" will go on tour next summer.

In other Broadway news, Stephen Adly Guirgis' latest play has been extended until July 17 and the musical "Wonderland" will close Sunday.
