Although spring may officially be here, many of us still have to battle through a few more weeks of gray, rainy days before the sunshine sets in. With this in mind, TODAY style editor and Bobbie.com's Bobbie Thomas shares some colorful ways to “make up” your face this season and brighten your mood.

Bold eyeshadow
Blue eyeshadow is back, along with purple, green, pink and more. Vibrant eyes are an instant update this season, and easier than ever to create with the help of new formulations. Yves Saint Laurent's Pure Chromatics collection of wet/dry eyeshadows offers you rich color and control. Blend the powder on dry for a soft, smoky look, or apply wet to enhance the pigment and get a more precise application ($48; Yslbeautyus.com). Maybelline's Color Plush Silk compacts can also be used wet or dry and feature different shades of one "pop" of color ($9.99; Maybelline.com). And  E.L.F's. new Everyday Brights palette for Target also works wet or dry and includes 32 cheery hues for this season for only $5.

Bright blush
Dramatic puckers have enjoyed the spotlight for some time, but flush cheeks were vying for attention on recent runways. Estee Lauder's new ombre blushes in Peach and Plum Nuance provide a range of color from soft to punchy. The gradated shades are smooth, easily blended, and great for nearly all skin tones ($26; Esteelauder.com), while Stila's custom-color blush is a perceptive "one shade fits all" powder that reacts with your skin's pH for a hue that's just right for you ($20; StilaCosmetics.com).

Juicy lips
Nothing adds a fresh element to your look like a burst of lip color, and two brand-new launches will have you puckering up. Clinique's just-released Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balms are already collecting a cult following. The eight universally flattering jumbo crayonlike colors were to designed to help you apply without a mirror ($15; Clinique.com). And Chanel's much-anticipated Rouge Coco Shine lip colors are out on April 6 to the delight of ladies everywhere who want a lipgloss-lipstick hybrid. The lush shades glide on like a gloss but feel like a lightweight lipstick that hydrates with lasting natural shine, minus the sticky feeling. With 18 shades ranging from pale nude to tangy red, there is a color out there for everyone ($32; Chanel.com).
