Digital LCD frames have come down in price dramatically over the past few years and are becoming more and more accessible to every type of consumer. They range from the incredibly expensive, wall-mounted variety to the smaller, 7-inch to 8-inch variety that occupy the same amount of space as your current framed snapshots.

Here's a list of some inexpensive digital frames that won't cost an arm and a leg. They might even make a great Valentine's Day gift!

1. Sony 7-inch Widescreen LCD Digital Photo Frame (Lowest price: $99.99)
Sony makes some beautiful digital frames, and this 7-inch widescreen is no different. This little frame sports an 800-by-480 resolution and a beautiful 16:10 LED backlit screen for bright images. 256MB of internal memory lets you store pictures on the device itself; plug in an SD, SDHC, or Sony Memory Stick for more storage. The frame comes with a remote control for changing options from across the room and has a multiple slideshow options with lots of transitions available to see your pictures in plenty of cool ways.

If you're looking for a frame that isn't the typical flat black of many digital frames, you might want to check out the HP 7" digital frame. With a 800-by-480 screen resolution and support for video and picture formats, this HP frame would make a really cool multi-purpose device. There are built-in speakers for movies with sound, as well as video and slideshow modes. All of the standard memory cards have slots, and there is a hefty 512MB of onboard storage for your photos and videos.

The Dynex 7-inch widescreen frame is more "budget" than the others, boasting a 480-by-234 resolution and 300:1 contrast ratio. There's a remote control to adjust viewing options as well as plenty of slots for memory cards ranging from SD and SDHC to Sony's Memory Stick flash storage. The solid black frame lets it match up with the other frames already in your picture collection.

4. Insignia 7-inch Widescreen LCD Digital Photo Frame (Lowest price: $69.99)
Insignia's got a nice 7-inch digital frame with an 800-by-480 resolution and 500:1 contrast ratio for bright, pretty images. There's 1GB of internal memory that lets you store plenty of images on the frame itself. If you need more storage, you've got slots for CompactFlash, SD, SDHC, Memory Stick and much more. This frame also comes with a remote control to adjust the frame from anywhere around the room.

5. Sylvania 7-inch Widescreen LED Digital Photo Frame (Lowest price: $29.99)
Sylvania makes a 7-inch widescreen digital frame that has an LED display for bright pictures. There are slideshow, clock, and calendar modes, as well as transition effects for your pictures when viewing a stream of photos. As with many other models, Sylvania's comes with a remote control, so you don't have to move the frame out of place to change its settings. For a budget model, this frame boasts some pretty good features.

Digital frames make great gifts and can give your living room a dynamic element. Nowadays, it's becoming easier and easier to find a budget model that covers all the necessary features for a great viewing experience.
