Cybercriminals are starting to pretty themselves up for Valentine’s Day by preparing an enticing batch of online spam offering romantic getaways for two, fake designer watches, luscious chocolates and, of course, Viagra.

Student charged for same-sex relations with minor
E-mails have been making their way around the Web offering “Valentines’ Berries & Sweets from $19.99” and “Personalized Valentine’s Day Gifts from Personalizationmall.com,” researchers at Kaspersky Lab reported.
Online spammers are also using the romantic holiday to shill Viagra, a perennial junk-mail favorite.
“The spammers appear convinced that there’s no better time than 14th February to increase your libido or buy cheap replicas of designer watches,” said a Kaspersky Lab blog.
Although these scams are often easy to detect, security experts warn that as Valentine’s Day approaches, holiday e-cards — made to look genuine but containing malicious links — will become prominent methods of cyberattack.
