Just ask funnyman Chris Rock, who administered a double dose of his comedic skills when a pregnant woman in a New Jersey mall went into labor...

According to Us, Rock was shopping at Neiman Marcus at the Garden State Plaza Mall when a mommy-to-be got a surprise as she was about to step onto the escalator--her water broke.

The comedian, a father of two, was quick to crack some jokes in order to keep the woman, along with passersby, calm until the ambulance arrived.

"He was making the crowd and the woman in labor laugh," an eyewitness told Us. "She recognized who he was immediately and he stayed there until the paramedics took her away."

Now that's a great gift!
