TV veteran Ed O'Neill — currently starring on "Modern Family" — had some harsh words for Jane Lynch, "Glee's" Emmy-winning star.

Lynch, 50, nabbed this year's status for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a comedy as Sue Sylvester, tough-talking cheerleader coah. "(Sue Sylvester) is just a one-note character," O'Neill sniffs.
O'Neil thinks the Emmy should have gone instead to Sofia Vergara, his onscreen wife in "Modern Family." "Sofia is just so, so funny," he said.
"I don't think people realize how hilarious she is," he raves of the actress, 38. "She's so sharp with her wit, it's amazing."
