She's trying to kick her coke habit and having a hard time footing the bill.
But if she wants her Betty Ford tab paid, Lindsay Lohan's going to have to get off the meat and cheese, too.
PETA stepped up today, offering to pay Lohan's rehab expenses (which she insists are bleeding her dry), but with one big condition:

She turn vegan.
"As you know, a crucial part of any recovery is showing charity to others. One way to do this is to be kind to animals, the Earth, and your own body. You'll never regret it," writes PETA head Michelle Cho in a letter to the actress.
The critter-loving group promises to pay up to $20,000 of Lohan's $50,000 bill for her three-month court-ordered stay. She'd get $10,000 up front for eschewing burgers and milkshakes while she's still receiving treatment at the center. If she wants the remaining $10,000, she'd have to go completely vegan for one year following her release on Jan. 3.

"After learning that Lindsay Lohan has fallen on tough economic times, PETA offered to help pay her rehabilitation bill as she recovers from substance addiction — that is, if she gives up one more toxic substance: meat. (In the U.S., eating animal-derived products exposes diners to antibiotics, pesticides, E. coli, fecal matter, and other potentially harmful substances.)," a PETA rep tells E! News.

If Lohan somehow can't part with the chicken fingers and other carnivore-friendly Betty Ford grub, there's always a career in porn—but not doing what you think.
Adult sex site Tube8.com tells RadarOnline it would underwrite Lohan's sojourn at the center in return for her, uh, input — as a marketing consultant that is. The porn purveyors would hand her $50,000 and unlimited access to their porn collection for her services.
So a burger-free year or endless porn viewing? Your move, Lindsay.
