While shooting a special for "The Biggest Loser," season 9 contestant Sam Poueu, 23, proposed to castmate Stephanie Anderson, 30, at the NBC show's ranch in in Calabasas, Calif., Oct. 4.

"Steph's amazing!" Poueu (who began dating Anderson by the third episode of their season, which aired earlier this year) first gushed to Us Weekly in May, following his elimination. Admitting that they found it hard to conceal their spark from costars, the aspiring trainer from Northern California said: "Her go-getter attitude really attracted me -- aside from her being beautiful on the outside!"

For her part, Anderson tells Us she's thrilled her friends and family adore Poueu as much as she does.

"You look for a partner who loves you for everything you are and everything you're not," says the radio saleswoman. "And that, for me, is Sam."
