Video: Gaga, JetBlue steward Halloween’s hottest

  1. Transcript of: Gaga, JetBlue steward Halloween’s hottest

ANN CURRY, co-host: So what are you going to be for Halloween ? It's less than two weeks away, and Ricky 's here in New York sent over five of this year's hottest costume ideas. We're going to get a clue what everybody's going to be wearing.

MATT LAUER, co-host: I think these are pretty spot-on in terms of what people have been talking about. You're going to see an awful lot of this first one.

CURRY: That's right . This first one is Lady Gaga . And I think, Matt , you would look very good in this costume if you haven't chosen yours yet.

LAUER: No. But, I mean, if you think about all the pictures we've seen of her over the last year in all the crazy outfits, people have a lot to choose from.

CURRY: Exactly. And you can go really crazy because she is Halloween , as one of the experts had to say about her and the -- all her getups. And the second outfit is...

LAUER: This is the guy who was in the news a few months ago, got a lot of attention for a short period of time, that flight attendant on JetBlue who had had enough apparently and he deployed the chute, cursed out the passengers and took off.

    CURRY: That's right , Steven Slater .

LAUER: This is -- yeah, Steven Slater. This is...

CURRY: And the great news about this is that, you know, you never have to go without having a beer. It's always -- you're going to be carrying beers all night, so that's good.

LAUER: All right. Hey, if you look at this next one, you -- I mean, people might not realize -- you have to kind of stop and think for a second.

    CURRY: Right.

LAUER: Looks like one of the founding fathers. And in fact...

CURRY: It's the tea party , you know? And I think that maybe if you were doing this, maybe you would want to wear a tea bag on your -- on your lapel.

LAUER: There you go. Just so -- because there's nothing worse when you're on Halloween and people walk up to you and go, 'What are you supposed to be?'

CURRY: 'What are you supposed to be? Thomas Jefferson ?' Exactly.

    LAUER: That doesn't work.

CURRY: But this one, I think, is pretty obvious.

    LAUER: That's right .

    CURRY: We're talking about " Snooki " and -- with a wig.

    LAUER: " Jersey Shore ."

CURRY: So you just get a wig and a tight dress and you're Snooki , right?

    LAUER: Mm-hmm.

CURRY: And then this is " The Situation ." But here's this really funny -- you know some of the other ones? I don't get this one, but Kim Jong Il is one of the hot ones as well, as well as Avatars . And that's pretty funny.

LAUER: What was it -- what was it Jon Stewart said? And Kim Jong Il 's successor, Kim Jong Not-So-Ill ? Is that what he called it?

    CURRY: The younger Il guy.

    LAUER: . Yeah, anyway.
