Zsa Zsa Gabor leaves hospital

93-year-old actress was hospitalized this week after being found unconcious

Hollywood fixture Zsa Zsa Gabor, whose health has been failing in recent months since she fell and broke her hip, has returned home after being hospitalized this week, her spokesman said on Thursday.

The 93-year-old actress remains in a great deal of pain from being bedridden for around seven weeks, said spokesman John Blanchette.

Gabor, who is as famous for her lavish lifestyle and number of husbands — she married nine times — as for acting, broke her hip on July 17 and had replacement surgery two days later.

Since then, she has been in and out of hospitals.

In August, a priest administered last rites to Gabor. Most recently, she was rushed to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center on Tuesday this week after her current husband found her unconscious and could not rouse her.

Hospital doctors stabilized her condition and kept her overnight for observation. She returned home on Wednesday, Blanchette said.

    Later in life, Gabor made the news for a 1989 incident where she slapped a Beverly Hills policeman who stopped her for a traffic violation. She claimed he had sworn at her. She served 72 hours in jail and numerous legends, true or not, have sprung up about her time there.
