ORLANDO, Fla. --
Comedy Central frontman Jon Stewart joined forces with George Lucas in Central Florida on Saturday.
Stewart held a special news conference for the Star Wars Celebration 5, honoring the 30-year anniversary of "The Empire Strikes Back."
Fanatics in full costume have been showing up since Thursday for the event.
Attendees were treated to Jedi training, and couples were able to renew vows in intergalactic commitment ceremonies.
Stewart said he doesn't want the movie franchise to ever end.
"I just want it to keep going as long as they can until they beat it into the ground where John Stamos is Yoda," Stewart said.
Celebration 5 runs through Sunday at the Orange County Convention Center. Tickets are $55 for adults and $35 for children.
