Transcript of: Raising quarter-million dollar kids
BRIAN WILLIAMS, anchor:
The government is out tonight with its annual report on the cost of raising a child from birth to age 17. For a middle-income family, a baby born in '09 to feed, clothe, shelter, keep healthy, to entertain that child, it'll cost $222,360. Remember, that is just till age 17. Those costs don't include four years of college.
