Submitted by Christoph Nagy  /  Devil Spring, Ginnie Springs, FL. I originally read about the freshwater springs in northern Florida in a Nation Geographic article. I was fascinated by the clarity of the water and the resulting colors. Devil Spring is one of seven springs that are located in the private Ginnie Springs park, a cave divers paradise. However non-divers like me can still get plenty to see when snorkeling. I took this picture early in the morning when there was no movement on the water. I was fascinated by the color and the shape of the cave opening. The blue color is due to the water depth.
