Al and Jen Copeland have two young sons named Chandler and Alex. Each year they have a different theme for their Christmas decorations. This year it’s New Orleans Christmas traditions and includes over 1,000,000 lights. As a little boy, Al grew up in the projects and visited other people’s homes to see their beautiful decorations. He’s always dreamed of decorating his home to give other people joy, and he’s been trying to do just that for the last 29 years.

The Richards

Papillion, Nebraska
Kyle Richards learned about decorating for Christmas from his grandfather in Kansas. Now with his family, wife Felicia and daughter Katelyn they decorate their own home with more than 40,000 lights, 300 figurines, and many illuminations. It takes 400 amps of power to run it, and two months to create. It may be a lot of work but they enjoy doing it.
