Which house has the best holiday decorations in America?

We've gathered all of the submissions and our panel of judges narrowed it down to three families. Now we need your vote for the house you believe has the best holiday decorations in America. You have until Tuesday, December 16 at 6 p.m. to cast your vote. We'll announce the winner on Wednesday, December 17. Then, on Friday, December 19 Al Roker will broadcast the weather live with the winning family from their home.

Al and Jen Copeland have two young sons named Chandler and Alex. Each year they have a different theme for their Christmas decorations. This year it’s New Orleans Christmas traditions and includes over 1,000,000 lights. As a little boy, Al grew up in the projects and visited other people’s homes to see their beautiful decorations. He’s always dreamed of decorating his home to give other people joy, and he’s been trying to do just that for the last 29 years.

Michael and Nancy Wyant have been married for 36 years. This is the ninth year they’ve decorated their house. Since they started, the amount of lights went from 66,000 the first year to 800,000 today. Michael, one of 16 children, enlists his two brothers to help him put up the lights starting in September. Any donations they collect go to a local charity.

Kyle Richards learned about decorating for Christmas from his grandfather in Kansas. Now with his family, wife Felicia and daughter Katelyn they decorate their own home with more than 40,000 lights, 300 figurines, and many illuminations. It takes 400 amps of power to run it, and two months to create. It may be a lot of work but they enjoy doing it.
