Demi Lovato is in the news again, but it has nothing to do with her recently confirmed (to Access Hollywood’s own Billy Bush on his radio program “The Billy Bush Show”) romance with Jonas Brothers frontman, Joe Jonas.

The star of Disney’s “Sonny with a Chance” just revealed she is heading to Seattle Grace for a cameo on “Grey’s Anatomy” on sister network ABC.

“For all of you amazing patient people… I’m so thrilled to announce that this week I’m shooting Grey’s Anatomy!!!!!!!! :D AHHH!!!!”

A rep for ABC told Access Hollywood on Monday Demi will play a patient who is treated by Dr. Alex Karev (Justin Chambers).

It was not immediately clear when Demi’s episode will air on the show.

“Grey’s Anatomy” airs on Thursday nights at 9 p.m.
