Teachers: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will soon open at Universal Orlando Resort, and if you meet the qualifications, you and your students could be there for the grand opening!

By answering the question “Why is my class extraordinary?” in a short video, you and your class could be part of a group on a three-day, two-night trip to the opening celebration festivities of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal’s Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida. To enter, print and fill out the application form below, as well as the minor release form on the next page, read the Official Rules and application guidelines, create your video and mail it all in to:

NBC NEWS, The TODAY Show

You have told me that you are producing a television news report about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort Contest.

In consideration of my and my child’s desire for my child to appear on television, I hereby irrevocably give you permission to videotape my child and to use the videotape and my child’s name and information about him/her for this program and to publicize and advertise the material. I understand that the material may be edited and that you may decide not to include my child in the material or even to produce it. I also understand that you and others may use and/or re-use the material on television and in other media (now known or hereafter discovered) anywhere in the world in perpetuity.

On behalf of my child and me, I hereby release NBC Universal, Inc. (“NBC”), its parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, licensees and assignees and the officers, agents, employees and directors of each (collectively “Released Parties”) from and waive all claims resulting from my child’s participation in the above-described program and use of the Material, even if the loss or injury is caused by the negligence or other wrongful conduct of any of the Released Parties.

I will not make any commercial or any other use of the fact that my child appeared in the program and/or contest. I agree that I will keep information about the program and/or Contest confidential. I am over eighteen years of age. I gave nothing of value to any NBC employee for my child to be included in the program and/or contest.

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any litigation arising out of or relating to this agreement and/or the program and/or the contest shall be resolved exclusively in a state or federal court located in New York County, State of New York. I acknowledge that I will not be entitled to injunctive relief.

This is the complete and binding agreement between NBC and me, and it supersedes all prior understandings and/or communications, both oral and written, with respect to its subject matter. This agreement cannot be terminated, rescinded or amended, except by a written agreement signed by both NBC and me.
