Could “Glee” star Jane Lynch soon be singing a new tune – a wedding march, perhaps?
According to the New York Times’ Carpetbagger blog, the actress is engaged to longtime girlfriend, psychologist Lara Embry. The blog reported that the couple plans to walk down the aisle in May.
However, Lynch’s manager told Access on Tuesday, that, “Jane is currently in a relationship and there is no related news to that relationship.”
News of her potential upcoming nuptials is just another thing for the “Glee” star (who plays the overbearing Sue Sylvester on the show) to celebrate. Fresh off a Golden Globe nomination and a Screen Actors Guild Award for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy, Lynch recently told Access Hollywood that news of a second season of her hit show has been very good for her mental state.
“This a psychological relief!” Lynch told Access earlier this month. “Knowing that I get to do this show and play this character and work with these people for another year is just thrilling to me! We’re booking! It’s really good!”
New episodes of “Glee” return to FOX in April.
