The number of women connected to Tiger Woods could top a dozen by week’s end, according to several sources familiar with Woods’ behavior during his frequent trips to Las Vegas.

Over the course of the weekend, Las Vegas-based Jamie Jungers, New Yorker Cori Rist and Florida-based Mindy Lawton have all been identified as having extramarital connections to Woods, bringing the total of named women up to six. According to British tabloids, Lawton might be Woods’ first mistress; the two met at a Perkins restaurant near Woods’ home where Lawton was a waitress, just two years after Woods married Elin Nordegren.

As for other women who have yet to come out, several prominent Las Vegas-based nightclub managers say that although Woods had women he had a “relationship” with, there were definitely others.

“He wasn’t one to send away someone who was interested. There was a revolving door of women with Tiger,” said one. “I can think of half a dozen off the top of my head. But if you want his business — and you do — you make sure it’s kept as discreet as possible.”

Another person who lives near Woods’ Windermere, Fla., home said that rumors of Woods’ infidelity were nothing new.

“Locally, there were always rumors of women in the community that he’d taken up with,” said the source. “You just never believed it because it seemed insane that he’d risk everything he has to sleep with women who were basically in his backyard. And with Tiger, you just didn’t want to believe it, either.”

Expect G-rated Lambert ‘View’ performance
Slideshow: The many looks of Adam Lambert The ABC ban imposed upon Adam Lambert after his risqué American Music Awards performance seems to have been lifted. Lambert will perform on “The View” on Thursday, and the performance is guaranteed to be safe for all audiences this time around. ABC says it will be pre-taped.

This is absolutely a good thing: According to a member of the AMA production, Lambert’s rehearsals gave no indication that he would incorporate any scandalous elements into his live performance. “What he did was a total surprise to everyone,” said the source.

A Blinding weekend box office
Video: ‘Blind Side’ scores with moviegoers Sandra Bullock’s feel-good flick, “The Blind Side,” played like the University of Alabama this weekend, toppling the previous No. 1, “New Moon,” with a weekend take of $20.4 million. “New Moon” earned $15.7 million. Unlike the Florida-Alabama game, this showdown was a little more predictable. Bullock’s film has been gaining buzz since its debut three weeks ago. That said, next weekend, when “Invictus” and “The Lovely Bones” are released, another No. 1 looks doubtful.

“Brothers,” with Natalie Portman, Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire came in No. 3, with $9.7 million. That might sound like a decent take for a smaller film, but the per screen average is only $4,646 — not great news for a film that is hoping to gain Oscar attention.
