TV
The contestants aren't the only new faces around the "Dancing With the Stars" ballroom these days. Co-host Samantha Harris has left the show, and seventh-season winner Brooke Burke has replaced her. She'll help stalwart Tom Bergeron direct a cast that includes multiples-mom Kate Gosselin, figure skater (and favorite to win) Evan Lysacek, Pamela Anderson, astronaut Buzz Aldrin and many more. (Season premiere March 22, 8 p.m., ABC.)

"Nurse Jackie" will bring her strong-willed personality back to All Saints' Hospital (and Showtime) this week for a second season. The first season premiere last June was Showtime's most successful premiere ever. Edie Falco has made even those who loved her as mob mom Carmela Soprano forget that she was ever anything other than this tough-as-nails, ethically questionable emergency-room nurse. (Season premiere March 22, 10 p.m., Showtime.)

Come on and fly me. "Fly Girls" follows the personal lives of five flight attendants for Virgin America. Whether you call them "flight attendants" or the outdated "stewardesses," America remains fascinated with women who fly for a living. One of them is even named Farrah. (Series premiere March 24, 9:30 p.m., The CW.)

Movies
"Chloe"
looks positively creepy. Julianne Moore's a doctor who suspects hubby Liam Neeson is cheating on her, so instead of talking to him or getting therapy, she hires an escort (Amanda Seyfried) to seduce him. And then the twists and psychological interplay begins. Is he cheating? Is he not? Is the wife herself tempted by the escort? What are the escort's real feelings? Sad footnote: This is the film Neeson was working on when his wife, Natasha Richardson, fell at a Canadian ski resort and died from her head injury. He flew to her side, then returned and finished his work on the movie. You can watch the trailer here. (Opens March 26.)

Documentary "Waking Sleeping Beauty" tells the tale of Disney's vaunted animation department and the company's struggles to rebuild after a couple of spectacular failures ("The Black Cauldron," anyone?). A review at DailyFilmDose.com says "the silent hand of Disney" is felt guiding the film, but early clips of then-animators Tim Burton, John Lasseter and others look fascinating in the previews. (Opens March 26.)

DVD
George Clooney and Meryl Streep are among those providing voices to "Fantastic Mr. Fox," out on DVD this week. The two megastars provide the voices of Mr. and Mrs. Fox, who live a fairly normal fox life until the mister gets a hankering to plot a giant heist. Whoa, did Clooney suddenly mix this movie up with "Ocean's Eleven"? (Out on DVD March 23.)

Baby boomers have fond memories of Patrick McGoohan's starring turn in the 1960s version of "The Prisoner" as a man who wakes up one day trapped in a mysterious village and known only as No. 6. Now Jim Caviezel (Jesus Christ in "The Passion of the Christ) takes on McGoohan's role in this six-part miniseries, which aired on AMC in 2009. (Out on DVD March 23.)

  2. Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani

Mother of eight Kate Gosselin has lived her life in tabloid headlines recently, splitting from ex-husband Jon in a very public spat. Gosselin reportedly will rehearse for the show near her Pennsylvania home so she can be near her children. (ABC) Back to slideshow navigation
  3. Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke

Chad Ochocinco of the Cincinnati Bengals loves the spotlight, and NFL fans are unusually good "Dancing" supporters. Other football players, including winner Emmitt Smith and finalist Jerry Rice, have done well on the show in the past. (ABC) Back to slideshow navigation
  4. Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough

Singer Nicole Scherzinger of The Pussycat Dolls has serious dancing and stage experience, which should make her another favorite to win it all. (ABC) Back to slideshow navigation
  5. Shannen Doherty and Mark Ballas

Shannen Doherty's "Beverly Hills, 90210" character, Brenda Walsh, was so polarizing that there once was a zine called "I Hate Brenda" in her honor. Doherty's ex-husband, Ashley Hamilton, lasted just three days on "Dancing" last season. (ABC) Back to slideshow navigation
  6. Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy

ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews was a blog favorite even before her privacy was invaded via a peephole camera spying on her while she changed clothes in a hotel room. She's got the looks, but can she dance? (ABC) Back to slideshow navigation

  11. Aiden Turner and Edyta Sliwinska

"All My Children" star Aiden Turner is probably the least-known of this season's contestants, and could be in trouble unless he wins fans early. (ABC) Back to slideshow navigation
