Jon and Kate Gosselin’s relationship took a turn for the worse Thursday night when an argument lead to the police showing up at their home.

Authorities were called to the family’s Wernersville, Penn,. home at around 7 p.m., Access Hollywood has confirmed. Police told Access the call originated from the Gosselin residence because of an argument.

According to Us Weekly, Kate arrived at the home during Jon’s time with the eight children because she did not approve of the babysitter he was using.

RadarOnline reported that the babysitter in question is Stephanie Santoro — a 23-year-old single mom who is reportedly a former cocktail waitress and aspiring model.

Photographers who staked out the reality family’s home told Us Weekly that Kate appeared to be locked out of the house.

The couple reportedly argued near the fence of their home and Kate reportedly left the scene in tears.

She was later photographed checking into a local motel.

In more Jon and Kate news, Jon is scheduled to leave his troubles in Wernersville behind when he hosts a celebrity pool party at the MGM Grand’s Wet Republic on August 29.

A rep for Wet Republic confirmed to Access that “the newly single Gosselin will indulge in an afternoon under the sun with friends, fans and hundreds of bikini-clad partygoers.”
