LONDON — A teenage member of the Harry Potter film cast was charged on Tuesday with illegally growing 10 cannabis plants, Scotland Yard said.
Jamie Waylett, 19, who plays school bully Vincent Crabbe, will appear at Westminster Magistrates Court in central London on July 16.
Waylett has played the rotund and dim-witted Crabbe in all the Harry Potter films.
He was charged shortly before the world premiere in London of the latest in the blockbuster series, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
