Purity rings aren’t foolproof, and Denise Jonas knows it. Despite the Jonas Brothers’ pledge to remain chaste until their respective wedding nights, their mom understands hormones can override their best intentions.
“They are men. They have desires,” the mother Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas told Good Housekeeping magazine. “They have testosterone. If they make a mistake, I'm not going to hate them.”
She may not even blame them, as mom seems to believe her sons are more the objects of seduction than seducers themselves.
“I don't think they are above or below being seduced,” Denise Jonas confessed. “I would be foolish if I thought that. I pray for them.”
Rimes’ rep speaks out on stalker allegations
While LeAnn Rimes and her “Northern Lights” co-star Eddie Cibrian have remained relatively tightlipped since reports surfaced about their alleged affair, Cibrian’s wife, Brandi Glanville, has no reservations about talking to the tabloids.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Glanville branded the country singer-turned-actress a stalker, a claim the Rimes rep denies.
“(LeAnn) refuses to leave us alone — it is shameful and scary,” Glanville said. “People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance.”
According to Glanville, Rimes continues to pursue Cibrian, and just last month tracked him down at an L.A. Lakers game after he changed his cell phone number to avoid Rimes’ “constant texting and calling.”
But in a statement released to“Extra,” Rimes’ rep insisted, “These comments are incredibly defamatory,” and added that Rimes “continues to remain above the fray and chooses not to play this out in the press.”

His 50th birthday is just a week away, but according to “House” star Hugh Laurie, that’s nothing to celebrate. “I’m trying not to think of it as big or meaningful in any way,” Laurie recently told the Telegraph. “I find the whole celebration of approaching death a peculiar thing.” The lack of a birthday bash is an annual tradition for the actor, who admits he fears his friends wouldn’t be interested in raising a glass to him anyway. “I get nervous about imposing on other people’s time,” Laurie said. “I don’t want to push my luck. One day your friends will just turn around and go, ‘no, I’ve always found you incredibly boring, and I’m not going to waste another evening drinking sparkling wine in your honor.’” … Keeping pals outweighs losing pounds for actress Julianne Moore. In an interview with Vogue, Moore explained that the rail-thin Hollywood ideal isn’t worth the extra effort. “I could be much thinner if I really worked at it,” she confessed. “But there was a time when I was exercising a lot and then I realized that the person I was spending the most time with was my trainer. I thought: ‘I don’t have time to see my friends!’” … Despite rumors to the contrary, Jennifer Love Hewitt and boyfriend Jamie Kennedy aren’t shopping for wedding rings — well, not yet. While the “Ghost Whisperer” star told KIIS FM’s Johnjay and Rich there’s no official engagement news, wedding bells aren’t too far away. “By this time next year, if we're not planning something, then there's a situation,” the actress said.
