Newlyweds Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag jetted off to Mexico for their honeymoon — the very locale that has been hit hard with the swine flu epidemic.

“Billy Bush, help us from the pig flu!” Pratt told Bush in an interview for Access Hollywood and “The Billy Bush Show.” “I can barely talk through my surgical mask right now.”

Pratt revealed that he has been wearing a mask since he heard about the epidemic, which has killed over 150 people in Mexico and forced the government to close the nation’s schools.

“I have not taken the mask off since I was eating my bacon cheeseburger and CNN came on and I absolutely had a heart attack,” he said. “I am really wearing a mask. I will Twitter you a photo later.”

And the precautions for the reality TV honeymooners don’t end there.

“Let’s put it this way,” Pratt said. “I keep my hands in the sink almost all day just washing them.”

Despite the epidemic, Montag said she doesn’t want to leave the country.

“I am so happy, I just don’t want to leave Mexico,” she told Bush.

Montag revealed she loves being married to Pratt, but is unsure if she will change her name professionally.

“It is legally Heidi Pratt, but I’m not sure yet if I’m going to go by Heidi Montag or Heidi Pratt,” she said.

Pratt added that he has no qualms about the name his wife goes by.

“I love reppin’ Heidi Montag,” he said. “I think she can hold two names down. That’s how powerful she is.”

And it appears the two are powerful in the bedroom department too. Pratt revealed that Montag fired up the romance on their wedding night, when she performed a song for her groom.

“The song that Heidi wrote and recorded for me as a wedding gift (is) called ‘Sex Ed,’” Pratt said. “She had little outfits and everything and fireworks and sparklers, and it was pretty much the wildest thing since that earthquake (in Mexico) yesterday.”

Things haven’t stopped there either for the steamy twosome.

“It is so heated up you can’t even believe it … I’m loving every second of it,” Montag said.
