The Real Deal: Round-trip airfare on Iberia, two nights' accommodations and breakfast daily, from $370 per person — plus about $200 in taxes.
When: Departs daily through May 30, 2009.
Gateways: New York City; add about $117 for Orlando; $123 for Miami; $156 for Atlanta; and $163 for L.A.; additional gateways available.
The fine print: Note that this offer is different from our typical Real Deals; it's not a bundled package offered by a tour operator, and you'll book the airfare and the hotel stay separately by using the booking engine on the left of CheapOair's home page. Get a $15 discount on each booking by using promo code MD15 under "Price Details" after you've selected your travel dates. Expect the prices and taxes to vary greatly from the samples here, depending on your travel dates and the availability. Based on double occupancy; single supplement varies. Read these guidelines before you book any Real Deal.

Student charged for same-sex relations with minor
Book by: April 21, 2009.
Contact: CheapOair, 866/592-9685, cheapoair.com.
Why it's a deal: A recent Kayak search found a $510 round-trip flight between New York City and Madrid in late April (Delta). Booking through CheapOair, you'll save about 25 percent on the flight alone. Depending on your travel dates, you could save up to 50 percent on the hotel booking. Although you'll be paying taxes on each segment of travel (and those taxes could get high), you benefit from CheapOair's negotiated rates for the hotel and airfare. Of course, it never hurts to pop your personal travel dates into Kayak to compare.
Lodging: You'll stay at the Celuisma Florida Norte Hotel, in Madrid's city center. The 400-room hotel offers a breakfast buffet and is near the Royal Palace and the Plaza de España.
More: Add nights from $80 per room.
Before you go: U.S. citizens will need a valid passport for travel; a visa is not required. For ideas on what to do, visit Spain's official tourism site.
