When Michael Jackson performs at his first of 50 scheduled shows at London’s O2 arena this July, he could have a surprise musical guest with him: oldest son Prince Michael I.

“What better way to introduce his son to the music world than to have him come onstage during the most anticipated concert in history?” says a source who was told of the possible plan. “Of course nothing’s set yet, and Michael is always changing his mind.”

Having Prince Michael I, who is 12, make a cameo also steers the conversation away from whether Jackson will be able to perform at the remaining 49 shows. “He (Jackson) knows what people are saying about him not being able to do all 50 shows," the source says. "Don’t expect him to address it publicly.”

Rihanna police photo as art
The leaked police photo of a bruised and bloodied Rihanna has become inspiration for L.A.-based artist Sham Ibrahim.

Ibrahim created a Warhol-esque piece using the image, and the piece is now in the World of Wonder Storefront Gallery in L.A.

“I thought the bruises in the police photo were interesting shapes to draw," he said in an interview. “And it was cool to color them pink and blue. Those are two of my favorite colors.”

Video: Scoop on Oprah’s visit to polygamists Ibrahim says that he’s not attempting to make any sort of statement with the piece.

"There is no message to any of my art," he says. "It's meant to look cool hanging on your wall and that's it! I'm not into deep meanings."

Katherine Heigl is ‘really trying’
Now that Katherine Heigl’s made it clear that she’ll stick around as long as the show will have her, a “Grey’s Anatomy” source says the outspoken actress is making an effort to be more considerate of the show.

“She is really trying," the source says. "It’s tough being part of such a big ensemble cast and she definitely has a strong interest in making film, and she didn’t realize how she sounded.”

Whether she’ll get to stick around or not, the source won’t say. “We’re all in the dark.”

Weekend box office
Maybe the debate over the future of 3-D will be put to rest after this weekend’s wildly successful “Monsters vs. Aliens” performance at the box office.

Slideshow: Celebrity Sightings The DreamWorks Animation flick made $58.2 million domestically this weekend. The film played on more than 7,300 screens; 2,080 of them were 3-D venues with a ticket premium of $3 or $4.

“The Haunting in Connecticut” gets props too: it had a better-than-expected $23 million opening. The other new release, “12 Rounds,” had a seventh-place finish with $5.3 million.
