Move over sushi-gate. It’s time for the tale of tuna tartare.

“Entourage” star Jeremy Piven, who took an early bow from his Broadway obligations two and half months ago following an alleged sushi-induced bout of mercury poisoning, stands accused of dining on the tasty tuna dish and enjoying a calamari salad last weekend.

OK! magazine reports Piven’s dietary choices aren’t part of a proper post-poisoning meal plan.

“After recovering from mercury poisoning, a patient should be avoiding foods that are known to be contaminated with mercury, such as tuna, for at least three months,” Dr. Grace Keenan, who hasn’t treated Piven, told the magazine.

Usher takes back his tough Chris Brown talk
R&B star Usher has apologized for the disapproving comments he recently aimed at Rihanna’s boyfriend and accused abuser Chris Brown.

Earlier this week, producer Jermaine Dupri posted a video in which Usher reacted to photos of Brown jet-skiing in Miami just weeks after the alleged assault on Rhihanna by saying, “(he should) have a little bit of remorse.”

Now Usher wants to take back the tough talk.

“The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion,” Usher said in a statement published to MTV News. “I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.”

Jennifer Lopez’s loan-to-own jewels
Diamonds are forever, even if they’re loaners. That’s the lesson Swiss jeweler Robert Mouawad learned after lending Jennifer Lopez $50,000 worth of the sparkling stones to attend a fashion show last week. According to the New York Post, Lopez loved the gems so much she couldn’t bring herself to return them.

“We received a call from (her manager) Benny Medina, informing us that Jennifer was going to keep the jewelry,” a source close to Mouawad said. “As far as Mr. Mouawad is concerned, Jennifer can have whatever she wants, but a premature demand seemed presumptuous.”

Not so, said Medina, who claims the jewels were meant to be a gift in exchange for her attendance.

“There was no demand whatsoever,” he told the Post. “There was an offer. It was very clear.”

Dish on the fly
Botox may be all the rage in Tinseltown, but it only took one treatment for actress Jennifer Aniston to decide she’s no fan of Hollywood’s favorite face fixer. “I felt like I had a weight on my head,” she explained in an interview with Elle UK. “I think it makes women look older. Harder. The warmth in their faces goes away. You see women and you know they’re not young, but you can’t tell how old they are. That’s what stopped me.” ... If Simon Cowell’s ex-girlfriend thought breaking up with the “American Idol” judge would give her a break from his high-maintenance ways, she couldn’t have been more wrong. “Looking after Simon’s a full-time job when you go out with him — and I’m still doing it now!” Terri Seymour told Closer magazine. “I’m still overseeing and finalizing his new house. I’ve project-managed it all, right down to the furniture.” According to Seymour, she and Cowell still spend as much time together now as they did before they romantically parted ways.
