Playing the part of habitually shirtless Sawyer on “Lost” made Josh Holloway a sex symbol, but the actor and former model finds that hot-bod status more of a burden than a boon.
In an interview with Company magazine, Holloway revealed the downside of looking too good for his own good.
“The whole sex-symbol thing is really strange,” he explained. “I wouldn't wish it on anybody. I appreciate the opportunity to work, the cash it gives you, and other things it provides are wonderful. But the celebrity thing... I don't like attention. Like anybody, it's impossible not to feel self-conscious if someone's looking at you all the time, everywhere you go.”
The problem goes beyond Holloway’s personal discomfort with the trappings of fame, as the star admits unwanted attention from well-meaning fans even affects his marriage.
"If someone approaches me and asked for a picture and I say no, then I'll feel like an ass,” he said. “But if I say OK, I'll often end up doing another picture and another. Then my wife gets upset and we have a fight and that's not good either."

“So, for me as a fan of him, I felt like if he said something negative and tried to make it like I’m negative, it’s almost like if a little kid walks up to you at the airport and is like, ‘Man, I love you so much,’ and then you spit on him,” West said, adding, “It’s like, ‘I don’t know if I love you as much as I used to,’ as you wipe the spit off your face, but you still play their music.”

Less than a year after putting his acrimonious divorce from Heather Mills behind him, McCartney is said to be ready to wed girlfriend Nancy Shevell.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, an insider revealed the 66-year-old even has the support of friends and family who were against his marriage to Mills.
"Getting (daughter) Stella's seal of approval was very important for Paul,” the insider said. "All Paul's children had massive reservations about Heather — but it was Stella who was the most vociferous… Stella has told friends that Nancy would make an ideal stepmother”
One reason for the reservations-free review of Shevell may be her own riches.
“Unlike Heather, Nancy is a multimillionaire in her own right and therefore could never be portrayed as being interested in Sir Paul for his money,” a friend told the Mirror.
