Newlyweds Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are all smiles as they embark on their post-nuptial media blitz, but for the mother of the bride, it’s a time for tears. In an interview with Us Weekly, Darlene Egelhoff said the woes began long before her daughter swapped “I dos” with her “Hills” hubby.

“Spencer has tried to cut everyone out of (Heidi’s) life,” Egelhoff revealed. “I've been honest with Heidi, and it's caused our relationship to decline. I'm more devastated about that than the marriage, because I'm confident the marriage won't work out.”

When asked how long the union could last, Montag’s mom predicted “the biggest mistake Heidi ever made” would be over in six months. She even went on to express doubt over her daughter’s state of mind when she agreed to wed Pratt.

“He's manipulative and seems to have power over Heidi,” Egelhoff told the magazine. “I would like to see a blood test from Mexico. It wouldn’t surprise me if he had her drugged.”

As for Pratt, he believes his mother-in-law is the one who isn’t thinking clearly. “I think (Heidi’s) mom needs to take a real fat chill pill and be happy for her daughter.”

Lohan’s on the outs with Facebook, not Ronson
Hoping to blog her troubles away, Lindsay Lohan posted her woes on MySpace this week. Her message: Samantha Ronson’s in; Facebook’s out.

“Just to clear this up.. because I have been getting a lot of emails asking me this one question,” Lohan began, “Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan (me) are NOT breaking up.”

Of course the actress would have added that news to Facebook, too, if only she still an account there. Seems the social network gave Lohan the boot, believing she was merely a LiLo imposter.

“At first I laughed, and then I got angry,” she said of the flub. “Angry because, with ALL the people that PRETEND to be me on Facebook, they decide to say I AM THE FAKE — of myself.”

Miller and Getty still going strong
Despite reports to the contrary, Sienna Miller and “Brothers & Sisters” star Balthazar Getty are still a hot item. Speaking to Page Six, Miller’s rep cleared up the quote behind the breakup buzz.

“Contrary to British reports, Sienna never gave an interview about her relationship with Balthazar,” the rep insisted, adding that the line (“I’m single at the moment…”) was “An old quote (that) was pulled from an interview three years ago.”

Dish on the fly
If a penny drops, Jessica Simpson is happy to pick it up. The pop star-turned-country crooner admits she just can’t pass on all that good luck. “I collect lucky pennies that I find on the ground,” Simpson told Marie Claire. “I keep them in a Ziploc bag.” … It looks like Dylan McKay won’t return to his old zip code to reunite with Kelly Taylor — or Brenda Walsh, for that matter. The National Enquirer reports Luke Perry requested $25,000 more than “90210” execs were willing to pay for a one-time reunion. Perry’s response? “Kill off my character…or find a new face to play me.”
