Fans weren’t the only ones who picked sides when Brad Pitt left Jennifer Aniston and began his new life with Angelina Jolie. According to Now! magazine, Team Aniston supporters have an ally in the actor’s own mother, Jane Pitt.

“Jane’s seen, first hand, how difficult Angelina is,” a source revealed. “She never comes to visit the family in Missouri and is always prickly on the rare occasions they have got together. Jennifer was the total opposite — charming, friendly and the perfect daughter-in-law. She always made time to be an active part of the family, whereas Angie just turns her nose up.”

In fact, the insider insists Aniston remains an active part of the family and continues to contact Jane Pitt regularly.

“(Jen and Jane) speak at least a couple of times a week and Jen never misses a birthday or special occasion,” the source said.

Manson’s violent fantasies about Evan Rachel Wood
Tough times are to be expected after a bad breakup, but it’s hard to have much sympathy for shock rocker Marilyn Manson. In a no-holds-barred interview with Spin magazine, Manson detailed how his heartbreak inspires fantasies about killing ex-girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood.

“My lowest point was Christmas Day 2008, because I didn’t speak to my family,” the singer recalled. “My walls were covered in scrawlings of the lyrics and cocaine bags nailed to the wall. And I did have an experience where I was struggling to deal with being alone and being forsaken and being betrayed by putting your trust in one person, and making the mistake of that being the wrong person. And that’s a mistake that everyone can relate to. I made the mistake of trying to, desperately, grasp on and save that and own it. And every time I called her that day — I called 158 times — I took a razor blade and I cut myself on my face or on my hands.”

Slideshow: Celebrity Sightings While he admitted that behavior seems “really stupid” in retrospect, Manson maintained that there was a grim method to his madness.

“I wanted to show (Evan) the pain she put me through,” Manson said. “It was like, ‘I want you to physically see what you’ve done.’ It sounds made up but it’s completely true and I don’t give a sh-- if people believe it or not. I’ve got the scars to prove it. I didn’t want people to ask me every time I did an interview, ‘Oh, is this record about your relationship with your ex-girlfriend?’ But that damage is part of it, and the song ‘I Want to Kill You Like They Do in The Movies’ is about my fantasies. I have fantasies every day about smashing her skull in with a sledgehammer.’”

Johnny Depp’s big tip
Slideshow: ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Actor Johnny Depp took a break from promoting his upcoming bad guy flick, “Public Enemies,” to keep his good guy image going strong. According to one lucky waiter, the star recently finished off a late-night meal at Chicago's Gibsons Bar and Steakhouse by dishing up a $4,000 tip.

“Depp is the finest of all the stars I have ever waited on,” server Mohammed A. Sekhani told the Chicago Sun-Times. “And he is a true icon, and his ability to respect others is phenomenal… Depp is one cool and generous dude.”

Dish on the fly
Video: Cameron Diaz on her new film Despite her success in the “Harry Potter” film franchise, Emma Watson isn’t sure that she’ll return to big screen once she puts Hermione Granger behind her. “Until something comes along that I feel as strongly about as I did Hermione — like, I felt that it was life or death — I don’t want to act again,” the 19-year-old told Teen Vogue. Watson’s busy schedule, which includes promoting the upcoming “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” while filming the next two installments, helped her reach that decision. “I don’t think I’ve ever been this tired in my life. I literally wear my pyjama bottoms to set.” … In “My Sister’s Keeper,” Cameron Diaz played mom to 13-year-old co-star Abigail Breslin, but off-screen Diaz took on the role of bad influence. “I did teach Abby how to say the F-word,” the actress admitted in a quote posted to Hollyscoop. “I taught her how to drop the F-bomb in every way possible. I said, ‘You’re a child in an adult’s world. I can’t be a child for you.’ When she didn’t swear, I said, ‘You’re starting to offend me, Abby. If you don’t start swearing every three words then I will fine you.’” … Fans hoping for a dip in the fountain of youth that keeps Michelle Pfeiffer looking fresh-faced at 51 might be disappointed to learn her mundane secrets for holding back the years. “Ultimately it’s ‘you are what you eat’ and you have to exercise,” Pfeiffer shared in an interview with Moviefone. “It’s really simple stuff, and it’s stuff that people don’t really want to know about… It’s not about the newest, latest diet, the newest fad. It’s not about some cream you put on your face. It’s really about what you eat.”
