We’ve done the deal-hunting for you and found the best hotel buys in Las Vegas, all right on The Strip. These sizzling deals include an ultra-chic overnight at The Hotel at Mandalay Bay for $160; $88 for tropical fun at the Mirage Resort & Casino; or $32/night for a popular stay at the Tropicana. It would be a sin to miss these sinfully cheap deals!
The Hotel at Mandalay Bay for $160
Staying at the glamorous The Hotel at Mandalay Bay, its sophisticated sister property perched up high on the top floors of this mega-resort, normally costs an arm and three legs. With this excellent Expedia offer we found, nights here are selling for $160 for stays through late December! It’s a more intimate version of Mandalay Bay, described by Frommer’s as “utterly fabulous … a world of sleek towering walls of lighting, ambiguous modern art, and both guests and employees in head-to-toe black” that “wows you from the start”.
Stay at Mirage Resort & Casino for $88
For a taste of the South Pacific seas in the Nevada desert, we recommend a stay at this midrange Strip resort. Frommer’s writes, “From the moment you walk in and breathe the faintly tropically perfumed air (we think it's vanilla) and enter the lush rainforest, it's just a different experience from most Vegas hotels.” Fun extras include a habitat for tigers and dolphins and a waterfall that turns into an ‘active’ volcano come nighttime. Hotels.com currently has low rates here, from $88/night.
Cheap stay at Tropicana Hotel for $32 per night
The top budget option in Vegas is this Orbitz deal: $32 a night for a stay at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino! This is a long-time cheapie favorite on The Strip, with all the standard Sin City staples. Gayot.com writes, “the 50,000-square-foot casino's faux Tiffany dome continues to dazzle. ‘The Magic of Rick Thomas’ in the afternoon and ‘Les Folies Bergère’ at night are also top rate, as is the tropical-themed indoor/outdoor swimming pool with lagoons, spas and waterfalls winding through the property.”
