Pop star-turned-country singer Jessica Simpson recently told Elle magazine that when she sang about abuse on her new track “Remember That,” she sang from personal experience. Now the National Enquirer reports Jessica’s personal story isn’t about an abusive boyfriend; it’s about bullying.

“I don’t want to talk about (what happened),” Jessica told Elle. “But I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run.”

Given that the lyrics from “Remember That” urge a woman to leave a man who hurts her “with his hands or with his words,” many assumed the eldest Simpson sister was referring to a similar scenario, but Jessica’s abuse allegedly came from teenage girls during her high-school years.

“Jessica was well-developed, and every guy in high school wanted her and practically every girl hated her,” a source told the Enquirer. “Jessica put on a brave face, but it was a campaign of terror that just devastated her.”

Mama Jo spoke to the Daily Express about the media’s obsession with Sienna and her relationship with the still-married Balthazar Getty.

“You can’t understand how a woman seeing a man who has been separated from his wife for months can cause such a scandal,” Jo said. “It’s awful; I can’t tell you. You wonder when it’s all going to stop.”

Dish on the fly
After losing 20 pounds on the Jenny Craig program, Queen Latifah’s feeling fine and isn't interested in dropping any more weight. “Some people say they’re a skinny person trapped in a big girl’s body, and I’ve never seen myself like that,” she told In Touch. “I don’t want to be skinny.” … L.A.’s Kitson boutique slashed the price of Lauren Conrad’s designer duds due to slow sales, but when their buy-one-get-one-free deal still failed to spark any interest, the trendy shop decided to just give them away. TMZ reports Kitson will soon ship the remaining LC dresses off to charity.
