Jessica Alba, who gave birth to a girl on June 7, doesn’t seem to have plans to sell photos of little Honor Marie Warren — at least not yet. “I haven’t really gotten any (offers) — not that I’m aware of. You have to understand, everything that is written is kind of bull,” Alba told the New York Daily News.
Several magazine insiders say Alba’s claim about the offers is not true. In fact, the insiders say offers were made to Alba, that she was kept in the loop and that some talks are still in progress.
The insiders cite Us Weekly, OK! magazine and People as the weeklies most likely to score a deal. “She is part of the talks, I don’t know why she’d go out and say that,” said one insider.
Alba’s rep, Brad Cafarelli, clears up some of the confusion, saying, “While several publications have expressed interest in photos, Jessica and Cash have not entertained any specific offers, nor was it something they wished to commit to before the baby was born.”

Jessica Simpson designs lingerie, recycles Africa PR
Jessica Simpson Intimates is Simpson’s newest fashion venture, according to Women’s Wear Daily. “I like different lingerie for different occasions. I think that’s the best thing about it. You can feel sexy or girly depending on your mood.”
That’s some fresh news, unlike the quotes about a trip Simpson took to Kenya in 2005 that are popping up again, this time in the latest issue of Dear Doctor — Dentistry & Oral Health. “My experience in Kenya with Operation Smile was incredible,” Simpson had said about her trip. “To witness the truly miraculous transformations in the lives of so many desperate needy children was both powerful and personally rewarding.”
Slideshow: Celebrity Sightings The recycling of quotes is interesting, considering the brouhaha that surrounded the journey. In fact, a source who was involved in planning the original trip was surprised to see references of any kind resurface. “She went on a wildlife tour at one point instead of visiting the hospitals she’d committed to seeing. The press was so, so bad,” said the source. “She backed out of PSAs that were supposed to run afterwards. I guess the lesson is that she and Joe (Simpson) really never cease to amaze.”
‘Hairspray’ star slims down, gears up for new flick
Nikki Blonsky made an appearance at Nikki Midtown in New York City to celebrate the album release party for John Travolta’s one-time stunt double, Nick Loren. What’s she been up to since her Academy award-nominated “Hairspray” role?
Slimming down and gearing up for a film release. Blonsky kept mum about how she achieved her dramatically slimmed-down appearance, but said she was excited about the June 18 release of her comedy, “Harold,” which co-stars Cuba Gooding Jr. “It is a really funny comedy, I am so excited for it I am going to take the family on a vacation to Turks and Caicos.”
‘Sex and the City’ label rundown
Video: Scoop on Gershon and Clinton Attempting to list all of the brands that made an appearance in the “Sex and the City” movie is a daunting task, for sure. VF Daily was brave enough to dispatch two reporters to take careful notes of all the mentions the designers (among them, Louis Vuitton, which got nice play alongside Carrie’s assistant, Louise), services (such as Bag Borrow or Steal) and many more.
I’m compelled to add two more to the list: designer Gilles Montezin (who is a Scoop friend, thanks to them loaning an amazing gown for the White House Correspondent’s dinner) and Beirn handbags, who not only scored prime placement in many of the SATC posters, but took center stage in the film, too. Kudos to some of these less-flashy brands for breaking into a very elite group.
