Kelly Clarkson sheds good-girl image, clothes

Kelly Clarkson has seemed committed to shedding her good-girl image since she stepped off the “American Idol” stage, and the reporting surrounding her latest habits only serve to prove that.

According to a close source who spoke to Us Weekly, the Grammy-winning pop star enjoys walking around her home in the buff, no matter the circumstances. That would include not just when close friends are around, but even when her home is “filled with strangers for photo shoots or fittings,” reports the magazine.

Why? “I just really like being naked,” the “American Idol” star tells visitors with an apologetic shrug, according to the magazine.

Roddick was there with a small group of pals that included fellow tennis ace James Blake, and according to staffers, word got out that it was Roddick’s nuptials (he’s engaged to Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker) that were being celebrated.

As it turns out, Roddick was at a bachelor party, but not his own. “I guess people got overly excited,” said a source close to the group. Even so, Roddick was reportedly on “good behavior.”

Slideshow: Celebrity Sightings As for the upcoming wedding, the latest update appeared on Roddick’s Web site, which said,  “With their hectic travel schedules, Andy and Brooklyn plan to enjoy their engagement and will wait to set a wedding date.”

Pauly Shore, polygamy reporter
Yup, you read that right. Pauly Shore — clad in plaid Bermuda shorts, a “Pauly for President” T-shirt, Fidel Castro-esque cap and lavender backpack — is making news for reporting on the alleged abuse case at the Yearning For Zion Ranch in San Angelo, Texas.

We spoke to Shore by phone, and he said he’s on location to film for RipeTV.com and to “ask my own questions about how these people think they can get away with what they do to children.”

Shore’s intentions might be good, but he isn’t making a good impression on some of the reporters there. “During an interview, one of the people from YFZ was saying they were going to take a DNA test, and Pauly interrupted, saying, ‘You think you’re gonna pass, buddy?’ He’s not letting anyone ask questions,” said one veteran newsman.

Shore’s response: “They are asking dumb questions.” He e-mailed later to say that this is his first webisode for RipeTV, a Web site that appears at the moment to feature mostly scantily clad women and the occasional high-performance sports car. “I just signed a deal with them to produce my own webasodes....this is gonna be the first one… name of the piece... PAULY SHORE....In search for the polygamist," he wrote.
