The close friendship between Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham has Tom Cruise worried about his wife’s susceptibility to peer pressure. The Daily Mail reports the “Mission Impossible” star wants Katie to put her Posh ambitions on hold.
“Katie sees Victoria as a role model,” a source told the paper. “She copies Victoria's look and even cut her hair the same way.”
But it’s not Katie’s borrowed fashion sense that’s left her hubby concerned. Allegedly, Tom’s real worry is a weighty one, as he watches Katie follow Posh’s petit lead by dropping the pounds.
“She is very thin, largely because she is following Victoria's strict 900-calories-a-day eating plan,” the snitch revealed. “She is copying Victoria's fad of eating seaweed shakes, frozen grapes and edamame beans. She is tiny.”
Katie’s getting a reputation for micro-munches . Recently, a fellow diner gave Life & Style magazine a rundown of her light lunch at L.A.’s Osteria Mozza. “She had only steamed asparagus as an appetizer, then a tiny plate of chilled beets for her entrée.” The onlooker added, “She seemed a bit hungry, actually. Poor thing!”
