LOS ANGELES — Amanda Overmyer, the raspy "American Idol" contestant with two-toned haired, was busted on driving under the influence charges two years ago.
Splash News were first to report that Overmyer was arrested on the charge in October 2006.
The Mulberry, Ind., native was pulled over in Crawfordville, after authorities clocked her driving more than twice the speed limit in a 45 MPH zone. She also ran a red light, according to Splash.
Overmyer had a blood alcohol level of .108.
The National Enquirer reported that Overmyer spent six hours in the Montgomery County Jail before her bail was posted, by Casey Taylor, her fiance.
She reportedly pled guilty to the charge.
